ERPi is currently seeking a full time Remote RPA Developer (UiPath) to help us dramatically improve benefits delivery to our nation’s Veterans.


The RPA Developer will be part of our automation team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). The successful candidate will build UiPath-based automation solutions within VBA’s complex benefits ecosystem. Specifically, this candidate will:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of VA’s automation “bots”. These bots will automate front-end webpage interactions, database-level scripting and data collection, file conversions and transfers, and reporting/event logging
  • Implement complex business logic within RPA solutions to automatically pull data from UI-based and API-based systems in order to complete tasks
  • Facilitate gathering business requirements from project staff and develop process workflows in collaboration with business analytic support
  • Demonstrate RPA “mock ups” and solutions to internal staff and clients
  • Develop and perform systematic testing procedures for RPA solutions to ensure effective and timely deployment of RPA solutions
  • Serve as an automation ‘thought leader’ and collaborate amongst various functional teams, business leads, analysts and architects

This is a 100% Remote position.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years direct experience using UiPath Studio / UiPath Orchestrator
  • 2 years of professional experience facilitating automation requirements gathering and applying standard process engineering frameworks and approaches to develop automation capabilities
  • Knowledge of inner workings and application of common RPA-supportive machine learning technology (optical character recognition, intelligent character recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, etc.)
  • Experience with programming languages, including Python and R, as well as associated automation tools (Selenium, PyWinAuto, Headless Browsers, Automagica)
  • Experience in application development, complex code development, application testing and component design
  • Experience with ETL data pipeline construction and maintenance

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Javascript and related web scraping libraries (Osmosis, Puppeteer, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of database, data warehouse, and data lake infrastructure, as well as standard database engineering, and database administration concepts
  • Experience with API data pipeline development, including both open and private, and both RESTful and non-RESTful
  • Experience with Cloud services, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with SQL, MSSQL Server, SSMS, MySQL, and Visual Studio
  • Experience with version control flow and supporting tools (primarily Git + Github)
  • Experience with Web Scraping tools
